Mixed Feelings!

It’s hard to believe how fast time can fly sometimes. It seems like we just started the class yesterday, and today we have only one more class of Media Writing left. There is more work than I expected for this course, however, most of the assignments are fun and I learn a lot by taking this class. So, how do I feel that this class, this semester, this college life is nearly over? There are mixed feelings of excitement and anxious. I’ve always wanted to be done with school and start working in the real world, but when it’s almost over, I’m scared. The fear of graduating and not being able to find a job scares me. With a degree in Business in this current economy, I know it will be tough for me and other newly graduates to find a decent job. Well, no matter how challenges or how difficult the real world can be, I know I’ll always have support from family and friends to keep me going.

PS: Goodluck to all of my classmates.

It's a crazy feeling isn't it?! On the verge of the unknown... exciting and nerve racking! Good luck you will move mountains some day!

I miss my full-time college days. It was a special time for me; of course, I didn't know that at the time. I have been in the corporate world for a while, wishing I could live in that world again, maybe just for a week. I would try to appreciate that time more; socialize less and spend more time learning. The "real world" is fine, but I hope you can enjoy where you are now, because you can never go back.

I know, I will graduate next year and I am already feeling the pressure. Especially with the economy too, I hear ya! I'm sure everything will be just fine and you will be able to find a great job! :)

I can definitely relate in that one! I've been tweaking out on the inside for quite some time, because I have yet to decide what I'm going to do with the last 4 years of knowledge that I've crammed into my face. I'm hoping I'll have it all sorted out soon, I keep on feeling like I'm closer to knowing what I want, and yet I'm still pretty sure I'm not quite close enough, so good luck, to both you and me, and eveyone else too! Let's hoe we can all figure it out soon and be able to do exactly what we want in life.

Hey there Huyen. I am going through the same thing, I am finished college on the sixteenth of December and I am a little worried about finding a job. I also feel confident because we have all put the work in and now it is time to make that diploma work for us. You will be fine, good luck

Good luck. I am really jealous (well, maybe in a way)because I can't wait to graduate. But, alas, I have three semesters left. I am sure you will find your way into something that makes you incredibly happy. Maybe not right away but soon...

well i share the same feeling as you. I too am graduating this Spring and am scared to death. I honestly am not 100% sure what i want to do. But I do know that as hard and brutal as the real world may seem, we will get through it! It's all about living and learning!
